Coriandrum sativum

Coriander (leaves) essential oil dōTERRA | 15 ml

Coriander (leaves) essential oil dōTERRA | 15 ml

Coriander (leaf) essential oil, also known as cilantro, is the fresh herb of the dōTERRA range, for having coriander at hand all year round. Distilled from the leaves, not the seeds, it keeps their bright, green taste, that of freshly chopped coriander.

A trace on the tip of a toothpick flavours a guacamole, a salsa, a curry or a stir-fry; a drop livens up a lime and honey vinaigrette or a green smoothie. Its two main constituents, trans-2-decenal and linalool, open up other uses too: combined with citrus oils, it cleans surfaces. Diluted in a lotion, it soothes and moisturises dry skin with a cooling sensation; a drop in a mouth rinse freshens the breath, another on the nails keeps them clean.

The taste of fresh coriander, without a bunch wilting in the fridge, and a few care rituals besides.
