Coriandrum sativum

Coriander (seed) essential oil dōTERRA | 15 ml

Coriander (seed) essential oil dōTERRA | 15 ml

Coriander (seed) essential oil is the gentle spice of the dōTERRA range, the one that moves from curry to skincare. Distilled from the seeds, not from the leaves chopped over dishes, it has a soft, herbaceous, almost lemony scent, rounder than that of fresh coriander.

Rich in linalool, like Lavender, it helps cleanse the skin and promotes a clear complexion: a drop in your facial cleanser is enough. Diluted in a carrier oil, it brings a soothing sensation during massage, on the legs after exercise or on the back of the neck at the end of the day. In the diffuser, it creates a peaceful atmosphere, or a more stimulating one with Peppermint. In the kitchen, a drop flavours a curry, a rice dish or a yoghurt sauce, and a drop in a tall glass of water finds its place after a hearty meal.

A kitchen spice that shares the chemistry of a flower, as at home in the cupboard as in the bathroom.
