Green Mandarin essential oil is the gentlest citrus in the dōTERRA range, for those who find lemon too sharp. It is cold-pressed from mandarins picked while still green, when Brazilian orchards are thinned out: its sweet, slightly floral scent is clearly different from that of the ripe fruit.

Two drops in 120 ml of water make a fresh, citrus-accented drink; one drop livens up a salad or a smoothie. In the diffuser, its bright, energising aroma wakes up a room or an office. Rich in limonene, it helps cleanse the skin and improve its appearance, preferably in the evening, as the sun should be avoided for twelve hours. A drop on your toothpaste leaves a sparkling clean smile; mixed with water and vinegar, it degreases surfaces.
