Air-X dōTERRA Essential Oil Blend | 15 ml

The Air-X essential oil blend brings together five plants: Litsea, Tangerine, Grapefruit, Frankincense and Cardamom. Two citrus fruits and a lemony berry for the opening, a resin and a seed to hold it, hence an intensely tangy, woody aroma with a herbaceous edge.

The first three are loaded with limonene, which gives the blend its cleansing properties when applied locally. Three to four drops in a diffuser refresh the home or the office throughout the day. In a spray bottle, a few drops with water and vinegar clean surfaces; in water alone, they mist a room after cooking. One diluted drop on the chest or under the soles of the feet gives a clarifying aromatic experience.

Frankincense and cardamom are what set this blend apart from a simple citrus assembly: they give it a base that stays once the freshness of the peels has faded.

Un petit arbre d'Asie dont on distille les baies, guère plus grosses qu'un grain de poivre. Son citral lui donne un parfum citronné doux, quelque part entre le lemongrass et la verveine. Elle prolonge les agrumes du mélange bien après leur envolée.

Uses

  • Cosmetic

    Apply one diluted drop to the chest or under the soles of the feet, for a clarifying aromatic experience.

    For massage, mix five drops with ten millilitres of carrier oil, for its cleansing properties on the skin.

    For the bath, mix five drops with five millilitres of carrier oil.

    As a perfume, mix one drop with ten drops of carrier oil and apply to the wrists.

  • Everyday

    Add three to four drops to your diffuser to refresh the home or the office.

    In a spray bottle, mix a few drops with water and vinegar to clean surfaces.

    With a water spray bottle, mist a room after cooking or entertaining.

    Put one drop on a lava stone necklace or bracelet, to carry it with you.
